The replacement tank LRA is designed for Toyota Land Cruiser FZJ75, HZJ75, FZJ79, HZJ79 and VDJ79 in Cab Chassis 4WD body style. With its capacity to 155 litersIt replaces the original rear tank on the original dual-tank models, in order to increase fuel range for travel, expeditions, tracks and travel in remote areas.

This tank is positioned behind the rear axle, retaining the standard exhaust and original filler neck. The instructions indicate that the original filler neck and fuel gauge are retained, and that installation requires partially cutting the original tank's front bracket so that the new front mount sits correctly under the round crossmember. The spare tire is retained.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application to optimize available volume while respecting the chassis's mechanical constraints. The tanks LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
