The auxiliary tank LRA is designed for Toyota Land Cruiser HJ75 and FJ75 in Cab Chassis body style, with original single tank only. With its 150 litre capacityIt allows for an increase in the amount of fuel carried for long-distance journeys, raids, tracks and travel in isolated areas.

This tank is located under the rear of the vehicle, behind the rear axle, in the space occupied by the spare tire. It uses a new filler neck with a filler neck and a locking cap. Fuel is transferred to the original tank by an electric pump, controlled by a switch with a fuel gauge installed in the passenger compartment. The spare tire must be moved to a tire carrier or secured with a suitable system.

Since 1989, LONG RANGE AUTOMOTIVE designs and manufactures its tanks in Australia. Each model is developed for a specific vehicle application to optimize available volume while respecting the chassis's mechanical constraints. The tanks LRA They are made of 2mm T125CQ steel. They incorporate internal baffling to limit fuel movement, as well as an expansion chamber. Before being sold, they undergo pressure tests and several quality control checks. Tests are also carried out over dozens of kilometers of heavily degraded tracks. These tests verify the tank's resistance to vibrations, repeated twisting, impacts, and the stresses of prolonged off-road use.

We also do use the pickup in the forest, with brushes and stumps on its ways. So, we decided to replace the original skid plates with something sturdier. Almont4WD skid plates are sturdier than the original, definitely! All vulnerable parts are covered, there is one plain level from front to back, with no screws sneaking and ready to be torn off. The parts are to mount easyly, and vehicle maintenance still is an easy job, too. Almont4WD is an excellent choice for the one who need the ultimate skid protection.
